Samarpan meditation is elemental, of no religion, and connects, naturally, with the flow of universal consciousness.
As we leave our thoughts through meditation, we let go of the past and our anxieties about the future, and move into the present. In this process we begin to merge closer with nature, beyond our separate identities.
The meditation has evolved over 800 years in the Himalayas and is a simple but very powerful practice where a mantra is chanted for a few minutes, followed by half an hour of silence.
As we meditate, our chakras, energy centres, are cleansed and balanced, and we journey towards the connection with consciousness.
The founder of the meditation is Shree Shivkrupanand Swami who, after 18 years in the Himalayas, was asked by his gurus to introduce the meditation to the world in 2000.
He has been a visitor to Wales on many occasions and is pictured near Whitesands Bay, St Davids and at home in India.
‘God is a radiant energy which is present in every particle of this universe.’
