Robert graduated from Newcastle University in 1997, studying Environmental Science and Biology before embarking on training as a Chiropractor for five years at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Oxford. This intensive course involved studying neuroscience, biomechanics, clinical medicine, human pathologies, chiropractic treatment and rehabilitation. He is registered with the McTimoney Chiropractic Association(MCA) and the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and has practiced locally across Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and at the teaching clinic in Oxford post graduation.
As a keen triathlete and sportsman, Robert has developed a specialism in sport chiropractic and soft tissue techniques to support both the recovery and preparation for athletes and recreational sports men and women. Through specialist techniques such as Trigger-Point therapy, Soft-Tissue Release, Muscle Energy Techniques and Therapeutic Ultra-Sound, Robert is able to treat a wide range of presenting conditions. These approaches are particularly beneficial prior to and after sports events for conditioning and recovery.
Robert has many years experience in successfully treating patients with a range of conditions, in particular osteoarthritis, sciatica, pregnancy-related back and pelvic pain, sports injuries, postural scoliosis,kyphosis, disc injuries, prolapse and degeneration.
