Naturopath and Nutritionist
I am a fully qualified Naturopathic Nutritionist, living on ten acres of land with my partner, with whom I am currently building a wooden cabin at the edge of our woodland. This will be a permanent home and the centre of our natural lifestyle. My mission in life is to connect others to their internal and external environment, focusing on what they drink, eat, breathe, think – and even excrete! I feel as if I have been studying naturopathy and nutrition since a young child, as I explored the difference I could make through food choices and discovered the stillness of nature amongst the beautiful Welsh landscape in the Valleys of South Wales, where I grew up.

My real deep dive into the world of naturopathy and nutrition began back in 2008. I started to become very tired. In fact, the word ‘tired’ does not even begin to describe how I felt. I was experiencing constant brain fog, confusion, explosive diarrhoea, sighing, extreme exhaustion, bad memory, clumsiness and lack of coordination. I felt tearful and had blurred vision, along with persistent migraines, a feeling of insects running through my blood. I was beginning to lose sensation in the bottom half of my legs and arms when driving, had pins and needles in my extremities, constant ringing in my ears, insomnia and vertigo.
Neither myself, nor my doctor, had any idea of what was wrong. I was finally diagnosed with the autoimmune disease Pernicious Anaemia. So it turned out that it wasn’t me who was lazy or crazy, but my immune system. I was told I would have to inject vitamin B12 for the rest of my life, but I knew that if my body had created this surely it could uncreate it. I believed the diagnosis, but was too stubborn to accept the prognosis. And so my journey began…
I started to realise that this numbness could be beyond my illness and diet, and that maybe the numb feeling was my whole life. In the search for something more, my partner and I purchased ten acres of land and decided to shake up our whole lives. A, make-or-break move on every level. New doors opened, and continued to open, to allow us to flow into our new path. One of these doors was a bursary with the Nutritional Healing Foundation to study on their Naturopathic Nutrition Practitioner Diploma. I went with the intention of learning and ended up becoming a practitioner, a naturopathic teacher, writer and a motivational wellness speaker!
I realised that I was absorbing, understanding and flowing with this information. It made every cell in my body light up with joy, a feeling I hadn’t experienced in a long time. I knew that this was my path. But how could I help others to heal if I was still wearing the pernicious anaemia hashtag? So I used myself as my first case study and put everything I had learnt into practice. I started to look at all aspects of the disease.
I worked and worked on myself until, in September 2015, I stopped injecting. I had my final appointment with my haematologist on the Winter Solstice 2016, which proved to be the end of the darkness for me on many levels: my bloods were perfect and my B12 was still way above the highest range and my haemoglobin was looking great.
I am passionate about living the naturopathic way, at one with nature. My hope is that it will also inspire part of your own transformational journey. I run a successful Naturopathic Practice, seeing clients face to face and also have online clients from all over the world. I am a motivational speaker and writer about all things related to the world of naturopathic nutrition. I publish a regular blog on my website, send regular newsletters to my website subscribers, as well as creating content on social media, including videos on my YouTube channel. These all aim to empower people with the tools they need for their own healing journey and to offer extra motivational support to my clients. I teach certified courses in Naturopathic Nutrition and run workshops in raw chocolate making, raw cake making, the world of plant-based cheese and mylk and other aspects of natural living. I am part of the teaching team for the Nutritional Healing Foundation, where I have the joy of teaching students on the Practitioner Diploma, enabling others to shine their light into this amazing world in which we live.
How much does it cost?
The first session lasts between 90 – 120 minutes and costs £65. Follow-up sessions are between 40 – 60 minutes and cost £40. At the end of each session, I will email you your personal treatment plan ready for you to get to work.
I am often asked how many sessions are needed and how long it will take to heal. There is no clear answer to this, as everyone is different. If you have been suffering from your symptoms for most of your life, then healing is not going to happen overnight. Naturopathy is about healing the body not putting a band-aid over symptoms with supressing medicine or drugs. During our first session together, I will give you advice about your future treatment and together we will plan sessions related to your individual circumstances. This process is based on mutual respect and understanding and will focus on what is best for you, both in terms of time and financial commitment. I also understand that things can change, so nothing will ever be set in stone. You will always remain firmly in control of your own journey!
Look deep into nature and then you will understand everything better.
